At Datazoin Engage ("we", "us", "our"), we build intelligent LinkedIn copilot software that respects your personal privacy, content ownership, and account security. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how it is processed, and the measures we take to protect your data across our browser extension, Post Studio, and web dashboard.
1. Information We Collect
A. Account & Authentication Information
When you create an account or sign in, we collect your email address and name (via magic link authentication). This is used solely to authenticate your identity, manage your subscription plan, and maintain your account settings.
B. Content You Choose to Act On
When you explicitly request AI drafts for a comment, reply, connection note, or direct message, the text of that specific post or profile context is transmitted securely to our backend to generate high-relevance suggestions.
Zero Background Scraping: Datazoin Engage does NOT scrape your LinkedIn feed, read private messages unprompted, or monitor browser tabs outside of explicit user-initiated generation actions.
C. Voice Profiles & Story Bank Data
If you choose to train your voice profile or save personal anecdotes in your Story Bank, this text is stored securely in our database and retrieved exclusively when generating drafts for your account to ensure authentic tone matching.
D. LinkedIn Official API Tokens
If you connect your LinkedIn account for scheduled post publishing, we receive an OAuth access token directly through LinkedIn's official API. These tokens are encrypted at rest with industry-standard AES-256-GCM encryption and used solely to publish posts you have scheduled.
E. Local Preferences & Activity Statistics
Your selected tone, daily streak, and client-side engagement counters are stored locally on your device via chrome.storage.local.
2. AI Model Privacy & Zero Training Guarantee
We treat your writing and LinkedIn engagement with the highest standards of confidentiality:
Strict Zero Training Policy: Your posts, drafts, writing samples, and private story bank entries are NEVER used to train, retrain, or improve public foundation AI models (such as OpenAI models or open-source weights). Your data belongs exclusively to you.
Inference requests sent to our AI processing endpoints are ephemeral and stateless, processed only to generate your immediate draft suggestions.
3. How We Use Your Information
We utilize the collected data strictly for legitimate operational purposes:
- Core Product Delivery: Generating contextual comments, notes, DMs, and scheduled posts tailored to your voice.
- Account Authentication & Sync: Keeping your session authenticated and syncing your voice settings across your devices.
- Subscription Management: Processing plan upgrades, feature limits, and billing via our secure checkout gateway.
- Service Reliability & Diagnostics: Detecting platform errors, improving generation response times, and ensuring system uptime.
We do not sell, rent, monetize, or broker your personal data to third-party data brokers or advertisers under any circumstances.
4. Third-Party Service Providers
We partner only with vetted, enterprise-grade cloud service providers who adhere to strict data protection standards:
- Supabase: Cloud database, secure user authentication, and profile state storage.
- OpenAI / Large Language Model Gateways: Generative inference to create draft suggestions.
- LinkedIn Developer API: Official OAuth authentication and scheduled content publishing.
- Razorpay: PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment gateway for subscription transactions.
- PostHog, Google Analytics & Microsoft Clarity: Anonymous telemetry and usability diagnostics to monitor feature adoption and eliminate bugs without collecting personal content.
5. Data Retention & Storage Security
- In-Transit & At-Rest Encryption: All communications between the extension, browser dashboard, and backend servers are encrypted using TLS 1.3. Sensitive tokens are encrypted at rest with authenticated encryption.
- Account Lifespan: Your account settings, voice profile, and story bank entries are retained as long as your account remains active.
- Local Cache Cleansing: Logging out or uninstalling the extension immediately wipes all local tokens and cache from your browser's local storage.
6. Your Rights & Choices
You maintain full authority over your personal information:
- Right to Access & Export: You can view and copy your stored voice profile and story bank entries anytime from your dashboard.
- Right to Rectification: You can edit or delete your voice samples, stories, and scheduled post queue at any time.
- Account Deletion: You can request the permanent deletion of your account and all associated database records by emailing info@datazoin.com. We will process your deletion request within 30 days.

We may periodically update this Privacy Policy to reflect platform enhancements or legal requirements. Material updates will be highlighted on this page with an updated timestamp.
